What we do at Hope Housing and Restoration is unlike any typical “shelter” atmosphere. Our services include efficiency style apartments for the safety, privacy and self respect that we feel a woman needs in this situation.  Women often will not leave their situation due to lack of money, and/or a fear that the environment where they would be staying would not be safe nor in the best interest of their children.  We offer counseling, information and referrals, support groups, safety planning, home management skills, job preparation skills, legal services and life changing ways of looking at issues that will come along during life’s journey.  Through our unique “life map” outline; we work with each resident to develop an independent program to take them from where they are now, to where they want to be as a productive member of society.
