Established in 1986, The Hope Center is a compassion ministry of WELS United located on the campus of St Matthew Lutheran Church in downtown Appleton, WI. The center is a non-profit, volunteer-run agency financially supported by members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). We provide a loving and supportive place for families in the community by enriching the lives of clients physically, emotionally and spiritually.

We are a Christian-based group, but are here to serve people in the community with any religious background.
